Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Be actively involved during change conception in order to have a thorough understanding of each change; be a resource for all involved teams
- Work with Program Managers to prioritize and escalate changes that will benefit the organization
- Design and execute trial plans that will validate each change efficiently and effectively and meet all cross-functional requirements
- Work with cross functional groups to address needs involved in trialing and implementing changes to ensure visibility and optimal functionality across the organization
- Evaluate and report trial results to all stakeholders
- Provide insightful and clear data-driven reports of all trials conducted
- Organize and track trial documentation in PCAs for approvals and results
- Train technicians and other project engineers as needed
Requirements:
- B.S. or higher in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Process engineering skills desired (process development/improvement, data analysis, constraint analysis, flow optimization, etc.)
- Solid understanding of manufacturability, process design, process validation, assembly methods, and lean manufacturing principles; previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Baan, etc.) advantageous
- Technical competence and ability to quickly learn the processes and intricacies of all production lines and products
- Capable of identifying critical process parameters and applying statistics to process measurement and control
- Ability to effectively report out information and escalate issues to the correct channels
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings or CAD models
