Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead design responsibilities including the development and analysis of analog, digital and power circuits
- Capable of working both individually and as part of a diverse team of mechanical, software and systems engineering competencies in a cohesive effort to deliver new and innovative products
- Manage small/medium product development projects from concept to delivery
- Apply knowledge of FMEA, tolerance stack up analysis, simulation, statistical methods and Design For Manufacturability techniques to improve robustness and quality of our electronic designs.
- Drive coordination and support with our validation and manufacturing engineers during the New Product Introduction development process.
Qualifications:
- BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline is required. MS is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with design of electronic circuits and components.
- Strong functional knowledge of electronic components and circuits design including microprocessors, microcontrollers, op-amps, switch mode power supplies, standard digital logic ICs, and discrete semiconductors (diodes, transistors, FETS, triacs)
- Knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout and experience with high speed design techniques. Cadence ver 16.6 knowledge and C programming skills is a plus.
