Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop a business plan and subsequent sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales and goals and profitability.
- Recruit, manage, train and develop direct reporting staff according to company procedures, policy and employment law.
- Plan and implement sales and customer acquisition, retention and development plan for defined markets.
- Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Oversees the creation and presentation of proposals and RFP responses to ensure timely, accurate and competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities.
- Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Managers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Understand all Randstad Engineering service offerings and mission and be able to effectively articulate to internal employees, customers and prospects.
- Stays abreast of current market trends and prevailing new technology.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College degree required
- 5 – 7 years of sales or sales management experience
- Strong customer focus and customer service skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
- Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
- Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
- Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
- Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
