Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a business plan and subsequent sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales and goals and profitability.
  • Recruit, manage, train and develop direct reporting staff according to company procedures, policy and employment law.
  • Plan and implement sales and customer acquisition, retention and development plan for defined markets.
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Oversees the creation and presentation of proposals and RFP responses to ensure timely, accurate and competitive pricing while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities.
  • Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Managers to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Understand all Randstad Engineering service offerings and mission and be able to effectively articulate to internal employees, customers and prospects.
  • Stays abreast of current market trends and prevailing new technology.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • College degree required
  • 5 – 7 years of sales or sales management experience
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
