Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Study and understand client specific product information (HVAC) , understand functional requirement, understand the product manufacturing process , assembly process.
- Assist Project Engineers for support for Electrical engineering , design and modification requirement task.
- Develop and update electrical documentation using CAD software and hard wiring schematics
- Support the design/construction of wiring electrical components and panels; must know electrical hardware and schematics
- Follow client specific design rules, guideline and deliver to expected quality requirement.
- Preparing & update engineering data, 3D CAD and 2D engineering drawings on CAD s/w like Solid Edge and PTC Pro-E/Cero
- Update CAD model and drawings, upload the 3D CAD and 2D drawings for review and approval in PLM system. Prepare Bill of Material and upload documentations 2D drawings in Agile PLM.
- Generate and update ECN for task provided in PLM system.
- Support on other CAD and Sustenance activities on need basis.
- Participate and able to quickly design, build, and test prototypes.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experienced on Electrical wire harness design and modelling.
- Requires a minimum of a 2 years Electrical Engineering related work experience .
- Hands on experience on Solid edge, PTC Pro-E for 3D and 2D drawing creation, good understanding of electrical design standards and practices.
- Having knowledge on wire routing/cabling features on Solid Edge, Pro-E tools and product configurations
- Working knowledge on Team centre and Oracle Agile PLMs. Minimum one years of experience on Solid Edge ,Pro-E and one year experience on TC/Agile in last two to three years of experience.
- Good analytical problem solving ability.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team member.
- Familiar with MS office tools.
