Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the design functions on refurbishment and renovation of electrical equipment and systems associated with oil and gas facilities.
- Develop scopes of work, prepare project schedules, manage budgets, and provide weekly/monthly project status reports. Specify electrical equipment such as transformers, MCCs, switchgear, and variable frequency drives.
- Develop electrical engineering packages compliant with the California Electrical Code and other applicable codes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. A degree in Power Systems is preferred.
- At least 6 years of overall experience in electrical engineering design for oil and gas facilities with medium and low voltage power distribution, lighting, grounding, communications, and instrumentation systems.
