Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Define detailed roadmaps for mobile app digital products in line with platform strategy and ensure the apps deliver the connected tractor experience.
- Own and manage app development backlogs within the agile delivery framework. Create user stories/ product features; determine business value, priorities and MVP. Support product build and provide acceptance for delivered product.
- Partner with the Platform Manager(s) to collate and maintain the technical requirements for the development
- Manage budgets related to mobile app definition, creation, promotion, improvement and maintenance.
- Manage full mobile app life cycle — from experience definition to app store publishing, optimization and product life-cycle enhancements.
- Work with business teams to understand customer and FMS needs. Develop the technology roadmap and drive the delivery of API functionality.
- Partner with delivery, technology and UX/UI teams to define realistic app release schedules.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Systems or Engineering in the following disciplines (mechanical, electrical, industrial, instrumentation)3 years of experience working as a Product Owner in either Web, Mobile or Internet Of Things Projects
- 2 years of experience managing full app lifecycle development from concept to delivery and go to market in an agile manner using a design led approach
- The Preferred Candidate will have:
- Experience working within the Precision Agriculture or Farm Management Software
- Experience with other Connected Car or other Connected OEM products
- Experience working with either IOT / Service Delivery platforms, web portals, cloud architectures, SOA REST web services, etc.
- Strong leadership ability and communication skills
