Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with CAD designers to produce specification and design drawings. Check and approve design drawings. Review and approve shop drawings.
- On-site engineering support during building construction and equipment installation.
- Assist the Marketing Group on proposal activities including review of customer specifications, conceptual layout of facilities, and development of ROM, budgetary, or fixed price costs of facilities.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years of design experience
- Experience with FEM modeling using RISA, ANSYS, or similar structural analysis and design programs.
- Familiarity with national building codes and design codes including UBC, BOCA, AISC, and ACI.
- PE Strongly preferred
- Experience with BIM (Revit or Bentley) is a Plus
- 25% travel
